CHUCK NORRIS – $70 MILLION
It’s no secret now that the world has already had its fair share of Chuck Norris films that have more or less reached blockbuster status in the industry. Chuck’s legendary run into pop culture started when he came back to the United States after serving in Korea for the Air Force. Not long after, Chuck started his own karate studio and found reasonable success until he shifted to acting in movies in 1970. This was when he appeared with another legend, Bruce Lee, in Way of The Dragon.
After having opened so many karate studios in the ’60s, Chuck finally found a newfound love in the form of acting when one of his students, Steve McQueen, encouraged him to try it out. The action star’s success, fame, and popularity came bulldozing into the mainstream— and as they say, the rest is history. Nowadays, Chuck is a very faithful supporter of many charitable organizations such as the Make a Wish foundation. People don’t realize this, but the actor has helped many people around the world, from providing basic amenities to making huge donations for charities that provide roofing over homeless people’s heads.
