‘Care, get out of my way.’ Natasha’s minion now flanked her sides.
‘No.’
Natasha looked as if she wanted to say something or, worse, do something to her, and she waited for it. But she only huffed, pointed at Ella, who was cowering behind her, and said, ‘there will be times when you will be alone, and I will make sure to make your life miserable then.’ And left.
As she left, the air was tense, and before anyone could breathe a sign of peace, Elliot stood in front of Carola.
‘That was hot,’ he said. It was then Carola realized why she was crazy over the guy.

All he had to do was say three words, and she would be all over the floor.
But, that was in the past. She was a new person now and knew better.
She pulled all her frustration, anger, and confusion to her mind. She slapped Elliot hard on the face and ran out of the building.
The day had been too much already, and she would make whatever excuse she would have to, but there was no chance she was spending another minute in the building.
It was probably the only time she was happy to see her driver waiting out in the parking lot. Without question, he opened the door, perhaps seeing the state she was in. All she saw as she left the school was the hazel-eyed guy running out the building, looking frantically and searching – secretly, she hoped, for her.
