‘Were the animals stolen or dead?

“I don’t know. Just like the tourists, the animals all disappeared.”

I also know about the zoo. This mountainous area was once listed as one of the key scenic spots for development because of its good ecological environment. When the animals disappeared, everyone thought they have gotten out of their cages, but soon a kindergarten teacher and more than two dozen students all went missing, causing an uproar.

The mountain area is large but not so large that more than two dozen people can go missing and not be found. Police called in helicopters to help on the same day. Again, nothing was found. The class of children and the teacher, like those beasts, disappeared without a trace.

The zoo was also forced to close down after two mysterious incidents. Years later, Daniel’s father bought the land and built the luxury Hotel X.

“Emma, come on, we’re almost there.”

I turn around and see that my classmates had crossed the bridge. I sprint to catch up with my classmates.

Two hours later, we finally reached the top of the mountain. A colossal multi-story building stands in the valley not far away. Hotel X does not choose to be built very high but covers a large area. When you look down from an elevated place, the whole hotel and the nearby lake are integrated. The builders also kept a large Ferris Wheel from the original zoo, which appears to be a fairytale world.

“We can also see wild goats and moose on our way, and we can come across swans in the lake when we get to the hotel,” Daniel warns. Everyone’s praise makes Daniel even more excited.

The beautiful scenery makes everyone full of expectations for this graduation trip. We accelerate our pace and walk to the hotel.

No one notices that the evening sun is gradually being obscured by dark clouds. Thick black clouds roll between the sky and the ground, falling down from the horizon like a flood that is about to swallow everything. The howling wind seems to be gradually strengthening, with a bit of dampness, which seems to indicate that heavy rain is coming.

On the surface, the architectural structure of Hotel X can be divided into three parts. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel has white marble floors, white walls, and ceilings. Unlike the floor, the walls and ceiling are intricately patterned. The design comes out under the light. This pattern is not an ordinary pattern but a variation of the emblem of Daniel’s family.
