When you mention Harrison Ford’s name, there are usually two things that come to mind: Star Wars and Indiana Jones. That’s pretty understandable, considering those two roles shot Harrison into the international limelight. By now, Harrison is probably very used to all the attention he gets both from the fans and the media. However, he didn’t pursue acting to become famous. Instead, he did it to overcome his shyness when he was younger.

In fact, prior to his iconic role in the Star Wars franchise, Harrison worked as a carpenter to support his family and keep the electricity running in his house. It was fate that brought Harrison to the steps of George Lucas’ and Francis Ford Coppola’s doors. After that, it can’t be denied that his success was written in the stars. It’s no wonder that he is now valued at $300 million.
