Jaleel White first joined the entertainment world as Steve Urkel in the comedy series Family Matters in 1989. He became a regular cast member after being an instant hit to the audience from a one-time guest appearance. He had been in the series for nine seasons, jumping from ABC to CBS. With his time in the business, he managed to amass $10 million. This might have helped him earn his film and television degree in 2001 from UCLA.
