He was also called the “blond Elvis Presley” because of his uncanny resemblance to Elvis during his early years in the industry.

The American film, TV, and voice actor first landed a role as Joan Crawford’s cheating husband in the 1964 horror film Strait-Jacket at the age of 25; even though he wasn’t given credit for it, it was still a major stepping stone in his successful career.
