JOHN GOODMAN AND BRANCH RICKEY
Wesley Branch Rickey was born in 1881 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was a famous baseball player back in the day and has also experienced success as a manager, and eventually general manager. He became known for his activism against racism, especially in Major League Baseball.
At his prime, he broke the norm to a huge degree and he signed Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers. John Goodman was born seven decades later, and can’t help but wonder how they look so much alike. No one can deny the physical resemblance.
