Due to her performance, she eventually landed several projects such as Paradise, Private School, as well as Gremlins. She then got better roles when she worked with Michael J. Fox in Bright Lights, Big City. Many thought that she would be staying in the industry for a long time, but after marrying Kevin Kline, the actress bid the limelight farewell.
